Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 02/07/2026

Welcome to The Startup Gurukul (“TSG”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Website (defined below) and your application to, enrollment in, and participation in the Startup Gurukul Bootcamp and any related programmes, sessions, or services (each a “Programme”) offered by TSG Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in India, with its registered office at 3rd Floor, Plot No. 27, 28, Sector 18, Udyog Vihar, Sector 18, Gurugram, Haryana 122015 (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing the Website, submitting an application, or enrolling in the Programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About the Programme

The Startup Gurukul is a 90-day intensive cohort designed for founders, aspiring founders, and working professionals looking to build startups. The Programme operates on a cohort base with a limited number of seats per cohort to maintain cohort quality and structure. Selection into a cohort is at the sole discretion of TSG, and seat confirmation requires an accepted application.

Programme content, format, exact dates, curriculum, mentor roster, and guest speakers are subject to change. Any change will be communicated to enrolled applicants and participants as far in advance as reasonably practical.

2. Eligibility

The Programme is intended for individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction. By applying, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide in your application is accurate, complete, and current.

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend any application, at our sole discretion, including after an offer of admission has been extended, if we determine that the information provided was inaccurate or that the applicant is otherwise unsuitable for the Programme.

3. Application and Admission

Submitting an application through the Website (“Application Form”) does not guarantee admission. Seats are allotted based on our internal assessment of applications, which may extend to a phone, email, or video interview stage as part of the admission process.

Relatively small ability gaps in TSG’s assessment model can mean a reserve seat, subject to selection for the actual cohort capacity for that term. Admission decisions are made at the sole discretion and are final.

4. Fees and Payment

The Programme fee is as displayed on the Website at the time of application, exclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to revise fees for future cohorts, but the fee applicable to you is the fee displayed at the time you secure your seat.

Once your application is selected, you are required to pay an admission fee of INR 40,000 to confirm your seat, by the date communicated to you via email or other official communication. Failure to pay the admission fee by the communicated date does not guarantee retention of your seat, and it may be offered to another applicant.

The balance of the Programme fee (net of any confirmed scholarship) is due the admission fee, payable by the deadline communicated to you in writing or on our online communication to you.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please refer to that Policy for full details.

6. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain a constructive, respectful, and professional relationship with instructors, mentors, guest speakers, and fellow participants throughout the Programme. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the Programme, without refund, for conduct that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be abusive, fraudulent, disruptive, or in violation of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website and delivered as part of the Programme, including curriculum materials, playbooks (such as the GTM Playbook), session recordings, frameworks, and branding, is the intellectual property of TSG or its licensors. Participants receive a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use these materials for their own personal or business purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any Programme content without our prior written consent.

Any feedback, testimonials, or content you provide to us may be used by TSG for marketing purposes with your consent in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Our Commitment, and Its Limits

At TSG, we bring everything we can to help your startup succeed—hands-on mentorship, access to our founder network, structured framework, and real execution support throughout the Programme. We are genuinely invested in seeing you win.

That said, building a startup depends on a vast number of factors, many of which are outside a founder’s control, including market response. Because of this, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, such as funding, revenue targets, valuation, or customer acquisition. What we do promise is our full support and the tools to give your startup the best possible shot.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TSG, its founders, mentors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Programme or use of the Website. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you for the Programme.

10. Third-Party Mentors and Speakers

Sessions may be delivered by external mentors, advisors, investors, and guest speakers. Views expressed by such individuals are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of TSG. Mentor roster availability subject to change without notice.

11. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the Website, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, interfering with its operation, or using it for unlawful purposes. All content on the Website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Website or participation in the Programme after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.
